The Ice Cube features state of the art controls and materials. The building itself is made out of USDA-approved six-inch insulated steel panels to ensure efficient cooling, food grade sanitation and superior structural support. All internal parts are made from stainless steel or HDPE plastics to create a corrosion free food-grade environment.
The operating system is controlled by a state of the art industrial grade computer (PLC) with advanced features like machine fault diagnostics where the PLC will dial your specific phone number and give you a message for the fault condition. In turn you have the ability to dial up the PLC and retrieve pertinent information as to fault conditions, room temperature, and accounting information.
The Ice Cube is capable of producing 7,500 pounds of ice in twelve hours, with a storage capacity of 3,500 pounds. That gives you the sales potential of 900 twenty-pound bags of ice per day! (An even higher capacity ice-maker is available as an option.)
As an added feature The Ice Cube can also be fitted with a reverse osmosis filtration system to purify your water, giving you filtered ice and the ability to sell filtered water.
